چکیده
Reduction and nanoparticle nucleation of Cu2+ by decamethylferrocene was studied with cyclic square-wave voltammetry at a microscale liquid–liquid interface established the tip micropipette. With voltammetry, two reduction steps could be distinguished as separate current waves. Comparing experimental results finite element method simulations, particle growth observed an increasing limiting current. Furthermore, kinetic parameters estimated simulations following Butler-Volmer kinetics.

Heterogeneous electron transfer kinetics at the ionic liquid/metal interface studied using cyclic voltammetry and scanning electrochemical microscopy.
The electrochemical behavior of a redox-active, ferrocene-modified ionic liquid (1-ferrocenylmethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide) in acetonitrile and in an ionic liquid electrolyte (1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide) is reported. Reversible electrochemical behavior was observed in each electrolyte with responses typical of those for unmodifie...
متن کاملPlatinum Nanoparticle Electrode Modified Iodine using Cyclic Voltammetry and Chronoamperometry for Determination of Ascorbic Acid
This study investigated the oxidation of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) using a platinum nanoparticle electrode coated with an iodine monolayer, called a modified electrode. The electrode were grown using the cyclic voltammetry technique and the electrochemical measurements were taken using the cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometric technique. In the case of platinum nanoparticle electrode modifi...

The oxidative behavior of Auranofin, 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-1-thio-beta-D-glucopyranosato- S(triethylphosphine)gold(I), was investigated by using cyclic voltammetry (CV) in 0.1 M Bu(4)NPF(6)/CH(2)Cl(2) and 0.1 M Bu(4)NPF(4)/CH(2)Cl(2) solutions using Pt working and auxiliary electrodes and a Ag/AgCI reference. CV studies at scan rates from 50-2,000 mV/s and Auranofin concentrations between 1 an...
متن کاملCyclic voltammetry at micropipet electrodes for the study of ion-transfer kinetics at liquid/liquid interfaces.
Cyclic voltammetry at micropipet electrodes is applied to the kinetic study of ion transfer at liquid/liquid interfaces. Simple and facilitated transfer of an ion that is initially present outside a tapered pipet was simulated by the finite element method, enabling complete analysis of the resulting transient cyclic voltammogram (CV) with a sigmoidal forward wave followed by a peak-shaped rever...
